释义	鹅湖 é hú亦作鹅湖。山名。亦为书院名。江西省铅山县北荷湖山，有湖，多生荷。晋末有龚氏者，畜鹅于此，因名鹅湖山。宋淳熙二年朱熹与吕祖谦、陆九渊兄弟讲学鹅湖寺，后人立为四贤堂。淳佑中赐额文宗书院，明正德中徙于山巅，改名鹅湖书院。指宋淳熙二年朱熹与陆九渊在鹅湖寺的辩论。山名。在江西省铅山县北，宋儒朱熹、陆九渊，曾会于此，辩论所学多不合。后人于此建书院。鵝湖
