释义	靈隱寺 líng yǐn sì在杭州西湖西北之北高峰下。晋咸和元年印度僧人慧理创建﹐慧理以为佛在世日﹐多为仙灵之所隐，因建寺名灵隐。唐会昌年间曾毁﹐五代时吴越国王钱俶命高僧王延寿主持扩建﹐规模宏大﹐盛极一时。元至正十九年毁于兵事。后历经明清六次毁、建﹐清康熙时曾改名云林寺﹐现存大殿是清代遗物。解放后又经两次大修。该寺为我国禅宗十刹之一。寺前有飞来峰、冷泉亭等胜景﹐为西湖游览胜地。灵隐寺
