释义	边商 biān shāng指边地的盐商。明弘治以后，凡凭引行盐的盐商分边商、内商、水商三类。边商缴纳盐课，领取盐引，并照官定引价将引售与内商；内商专买边引，下场收盐上堆，并照官定盐价将盐售与水商；水商多是销岸商贩，专收内商食盐在指定引岸行销。清代，以上三种名目均废。但四川引盐运销云南、贵州两省的运商则仍称边商。邊商
