释义	八伯 bā bó古代畿外八州的最高长官﹐分别掌管四方诸侯﹐相传尧舜时皆有。晋代郗鉴、阮放、卞壸、蔡谟、胡毋辅之、阮孚、刘绥、羊曼八人﹐时号兖州八伯。古代京畿外八州的最高长官，分别掌管四方诸侯，相传尧、舜时皆有设置。尧时八伯有驩兜、共工、放齐、鲧，其余则不可考。舜时八伯相传伯夷为阳伯，羲仲、羲叔之后为二羲伯，弃为夏伯，咎繇为秋伯，和仲、和叔之后为和伯，垂为冬伯，一人不详。见宋．王应麟《小学绀珠．卷五．名臣类上》。兖州八伯的简称。参见「兖州八伯」条。
