释义	中星儀 zhōng xīng yí观测恒星通过子午圈的时刻，以确定时钟改正值的天体测量仪器。基本构造为一具置于东西方向水平轴上，能自由旋转的望远镜。望远镜的视准轴必须与水平轴正交，视线方向恰在子午面内仰俯。据此观测到的恒星通过子午圈的时刻，即为当地的恒星时，与地方恒星时时钟读数比对，即可得到时钟改正值。
